On Sunday I ordered a cheap recurve bow off Amazon only thirty odd quid to see if I could learn how to shoot a traditional bow with no sights, it only has a 20lb draw. So I googled the fec out of how

Mc Hull would,nt your talking to a man that can I.D a roosting blue tit at 500 yards with nothing more than torch, he would track the bear naked apart from wellies and finish it with a single blow to

three women killed today in uk with a crossbow so i think that ban will come in rather quick imo

Nice groups for a trad bow.Are you shooting instinctual like the schlockmaster? There's a place just opened near here where they do traditional indoor in an industrial unit,I passed it the other day but haven't been in.Maybe this book would be interesting, instinct shooting.

No I’ve settled on shooting 3 under gap . We’re u basically aim well below your intended target to hit it. So hence me shooting random inanimate objects so it gets me to mentally find my gap every time . It seem a lot harder than shooting my compound but very satisfying. I tried instinctively with the cattys and could never get into that . By nature I’m a precise person in my everyday life, so finding an aiming point just works better and is more accurate for me. Mac have tried traditional off the shelf much yourself?

Not a stand pal a tree saddle and climbing sticks. Only got delivered today. I get all my parcels delivered to my business premises so it came this morning and I opened it up. The staff looked at the saddle and rope and said is it a sex/fcuk swing lol and was taking the Mickey out of me lol. Got some more bits and bobs ordered. Just took dog for a walk earlier and had a quick mess with it. Am impressed with how quick it goes up, am going to spray the climbing sticks camo and put some stealth tape on them so they don't clank and are noisy.

Reason for a saddle , less bulk to carry and easier to conceal if needed . Actually more comfy than what I thought. Need knee pads or a tree cushion I think . Got a gear/camera hanger coming and some scent wafers and nose jammer . Also a 2 step hang n bang aider so hopefully I can start first climbing stick high up . Am all over this lol

Danger is my middle name ! Seriously did my homework and saddle and climbing sticks way to go. Never done anything like that before so I’m down canal half way up a tree wondering which is linesman belt or bridge belt or teather as they all the same colour, but sussed it and felt safe tbh. Will practice a lot more. Am just spraying one of the climbing sticks now in garage in camo . coz thinking I can set my platform up at dusk and leave it. But just take the first climbing stick down and leave rest and platform up there . That way no one can nick it . But I can get it up up real quick in dark before 1st light and hopefully get some good pictures.
