Ayyyee nice ! Is that a black hunter ? Recurve or long bow ? Your grouping very well ! Word of advice with them arrows you have , cut that thread off the base of the fletchings and see how they shoot

Yeah a Black Hunter recurve mate, only about £66 off aliexpress.  I got 40lb and 25lb limbs. Been getting a bit of gyp in my shoulder and also figured I'd teach myself better form with 25lb limbs. What does cutting thread off do and it's this shooting to the left am struggling to sort out.

Just ad an hour in sun learning to shoot traditional bow no sights. Bought a new string and string silencer and fitted sum female Velcro as well. Shooting very quiet now. My aiming point for the arrow tip is the fishing rod bit on the astroturf and aiming that much under hits the target, it’s called 3 finger under gap shooting. I av got rid of fishing rod now and av a reference point on bow. Am slowly getting there but it’s hard work, the compound bow is a hell of a lot easier lol. But overall am no Robin Hood/ William Tell but am pleased with my progress and groupings tbh.

Usual stressful day in work so got home walked mutt and add hour shooting. Started with the compound, so easy compared to traditional bare bow shooting.

Then had a play with traditional bare bow and played about with nock heights amd finished up can bashing with slingbow. I don’t know about you lot but I struggle to relax and sit still. So pissing about at bottom of kennels totaly de stresses me from work and chill me out .

Just watching bowhunting on YouTube and over in the states they have a charity called Hunters For Hungry. We’re all the bow shooters with deer tag licenses donate all there deer carcasses to the charity and it all gets processed into free food for the homeless. What a great idea ! If only our country and the bigots that run could do the same !!!

i remember Ian Botham suggesting similar with game shot birds but it got shot down in flames Sir Ian Botham, who lives near Richmond, involved in heated on air row with BBC presenter over game bird scheme for the hungry | The Northern Echo

Hi my name is Leo and I’m an addict!! 
Properly got the archery addiction lol. Tried slingbows and compounds but fell in love with trad, that’s traditional shooting off a bare bow with no sights . Obviously bowhunting is illegal in uk . But I am hooked on the bow hunting YouTube channels and the rush of larger prey . Been enjoying the learning curve of how to shoot trad. Some groups ov  10 yards trad

Bought a few cheap Chinese bows to play with only about £45 to £99 quid each . But pure bow porn to me . Made my own parra cord silencers and added Velcro strike plates and fast flight Flemish strings .
