These are cold steel polymer plastic ones. Compound shoots em fine and the slingbow does, but one goes off now and again. It’s a learning curve this lot, but enjoying the ride and de stress from work.

On Sunday I ordered a cheap recurve bow off Amazon only thirty odd quid to see if I could learn how to shoot a traditional bow with no sights, it only has a 20lb draw. So I googled the fec out of how

Mc Hull would,nt your talking to a man that can I.D a roosting blue tit at 500 yards with nothing more than torch, he would track the bear naked apart from wellies and finish it with a single blow to

Bit of practice at bottom of kennels. Got to say I prefer the triangle bow, am sure to a purist archer it would be a gimmick or china eBay junk for £140. But for my novice learning curve it shoots lov

Pretty cool ! Yeah I been seeing a lot of those Chinese broadheads on Amazon but ...egghhh. some actually did a test with them. They look good but as far as actual quality

On a side note I've been running around with my bow and doing some videos. Bit of slow motion in this while messing with different spine weights

Since I derailed my  compound bow and broke it, I’ve been concentrating on bare bow traditional archery with no sights. Started of string walking and wasn’t for me , tried split finger and settled on 3 under. I can consistently hit the target at 10 metres but I shoot left all the time. Tried swapping spines on arrows to no luck. The compounds are a lot lot easy and accurate compared to bare bow. It’s a rabbit hole I’ve gone down with this . But am trier and won’t give up !!!

I de railed the compound by a fuktard idiot nooby mistake by accidentally dry firing ffs while messing with it. But tbh I’ve got the bug to learn bare bow off the shelf shooting. I think a lot more skill and have to get closer to quarry . Also in a hypothetical situation of needing a bow to secure food or large prey a take down recurve much easier to conceal in a bag then a compound and only takes minutes to assemble. Also if a member of the public seen  you , would probably think a harmless Robin Hood nut job wandering about . We’re as with a compound it’s a big thing to get on and off land and also to the average joe you would look like Rambo . Just my take on it if the world went tits up and you needed to be stealthy.

Get a short A2A mines 32 inch?Dry firing might have damaged the limbs, check for that, when you go into a pro archery shop stateside they all have locks on so while you can pick them off the rack you can’t draw them.I just suggested a better spec compound for range and accuracy.

Got a guy who comes in my business going to take me after hours to his archery club to look at mine on a bow press and hopefully fix it , if not was cheap as chips and will just buy another.  Is A2A a make of bow ?
