Said if you can shoot a catty fine, you should be ok with a bow.

I know our ancestors did it etc etc, but they didn't have the benefit of technology or weaponology that we have these days. Nah, I really don't buy into it all. I Get that argument , I really do , by when you read chick Adam’s search for a mountain lion , you’d gain a new perspective

I haven't killed anything of much substance with a bow yet but I've drawn on some boars and the like and man theirs something, that if you let it , completely comes ober you in that moment. Is some of the purest ,close like I'm honestly having a problem describing it without getting all spiritual but man that's about what it is. Will say though hunting something on the ground that can kill you as easy as you can kill it is addicting. Noting like staring down a 300lbs boar with gleaming white cutters at 10yd. He see you you see him and he's a coming and he's gonna try and f**k you up. Feral bulls are another one , probably closet thing to a cape buff I'll ever get

Your gonna get runners most of the time . You don't get the hydrostatic shock effect with a bow and arrow that you will from a bullet . That and animals are just way tougher then what we give them credit for I've seen deer get perfect heart shot pumping blood like a fountain and they will still run 50-60yd 2
Wolfdog91 7,043
Side note , some how stumbled on a Aussie hunting page a while back and apparently bow hunting the feral camels over there has a it of a cult following, wish I was still in the group, some really cool people to chat with same with the NZ deer cullers
