My little boy ( he’s 7 next month) came home from school not longs ago with the duty triangle body and mop top crayon picture of a small child and a female figure hand in hand . 

my misses heart melted but was soon actually broken as he took great care to explain that the dark haired lady walking with him , wasn’t in fact her , but instead was dua lipa

Anatomically none of it is correct. I could probably do a better job now if I tried. But the colours, using coloured pencils, it took hours, over several weeks. That is the thing that I gave up. Thank you for the kind comment though,

Very true. At the time I used to just pick up a pen or pencil and start drawing without any thought of composition or preportions. Would often get half way through and realise that it wasn't all going to fit onto the page

Last year i decide to buy some pencils and a sketchbook, I haven't drawn anything for over two decades, it certainly isn't like riding a bike.  I gave it a bash for a week or two, definitely no Picasso!

P A  Mate who had bulldogs back in the day. If my memory serves me right it was a painting of a fawn dog a GC i believe.
