They were a quick bike in their day

when I was 14/15 a bloke down the street from me had a 80’s GSX750ES, proper smart, blue and white with gold wheels, one night my mate liberated it form his garage, I’d never ridden anything that big before, It was normally Cub90’s or things like cg125’s that we’d rag around fields, I jumped on it went flying up the street past my house and straight through a fence, did a runner and watched the police turn up, everyone in the street knew it was me but didn’t say anything, even the bloke who’s bike it was, I seen my dad talking to him and my old man ether bunged him a few quid or he was to scared to say out to me old man, ether way good old Normski saved my bacon again

Bet your dads name was Greb

I would strip and clean carbs then balance , if it's been sat they will be loads better after a clean,  my clutch rattles a bit could be the plates

Yeah carbs are coming in tonight kitchen table job, do I need a vacuum gauge bank of 4 mate?

Clutch seems a common problem but hey 41 years old it's intitled to that I guess.

Cheers for reply 👍

Just to get them something like put 4 metal rods in the sliders I use welding rods then open them up slowly while at a right angle to the carbs watch the rods drop down they should all move up n down at the same time and all be the same level you can get them quite close doing that
