As you can see from the picture one head bolt is bent, the sprung steel pin is rusted into two pieces, The whole thing had been in the rain with no spark plug fitted at some point in its life, as there was rust coloured orange oil and staining everywhere, The barrel is pitted, possibly unsalvageable as the head is in the bin due to bad fracturing, made a start on cleaning up what i can and have spent a couple of hours trying to find parts, The difficulty is there are so many variant's of this engine that most parts advertised are incorrectly identified, Luckily this is a three speed engine and was only manufactured in 1959 and then only for a short period, being sold into early 1960. be steel sleeve in the barrel won’t it mate ? i send to langcourts there descent Quote Link to post Share on other sites
