The last DT125 i did a few years ago i went mad on. cost me over two grand without my labour and i lost money on it, If i had somewhere to keep them all i would possibly do them all to that standard but thats just my OCD Lol, there's a nice original 72 to 74 KH400 here for £2800....lol

There is a KE100, same bike but the MX version, For sale locally that one is later. early 1980`s i believe, its in roughly the same condition but does have a major mechanical issue "Its Seized solid" Lol, He is asking for £1600. In my view its well over priced even if it was a running, ridable example, I watched the October auction by H&H auctioneers at The National Motorbike Museum the other week, The usual Ducati 999RR`s were achieving really strong bids as were other rarities but the bread and butter RD`s LC`s, KH`s, and GT`s were not reaching there reserves neither were a lot of Fully restored British bikes, The strong money was being bid on barn finds and basket cases, Maybe the collectors market is dropping off but the restoration market is short on stock, Well that was my take on the auction but i could be wrong, I am on a lot of occasions, Trust me Lol. Collected the two 1950`s peddle and pops earlier this afternoon. Will unload them and have a proper look tomorrow,
paulus 26 Posted Sunday at 19:26 Report Share Posted Sunday at 19:26 Just a quick update on progress so far, The little PW50 is now running, Just needs a final few bits sorting and its finished, All the parts have arrived for the KH100, I have been doing some investigations into one of the Phillips Mopeds i picked up last week, I incorrectly assumed that the engine was a Villiers Type 3 K series, once i had removed it and placed it on the bench i spotted the Rex Logo on the casing. This could be an issue as i have found out that when \rex went into liquidation, Due to the owner gambling away all the money, Villiers purchased the rights to there engine designs, But when they designed and produced there copy of the 3K they cut corners on parts and build quality to save money. This may make obtaining certain parts difficult. The bike is showing 4000Km on the clock. Both bikes have some sort of coating on the inside of the fuel tanks that has kept them in perfect condition, One of the Magneto`s is looking ropey but i think i may possibly have enough bits here to convert it to electronic ignition,
