What make quads and snow mobiles do you use where you are Tilly?

there are many makes here bud, it's the land of toys here...lol, quad wise there's the usual, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, artic cat, also Polaris, and can-am's and also them trike bikes...i also see quite a few banshee's all tricked up which look and sound very good, over here there are rakes of trails that you can ride quads, side by sides, street and trail, and motor cross bike which does bump the prices up of the vehicles as they all have a lot of uses, snowmobile wise there's Yamaha, Polaris, can-am, artic cat, skidoo, bombardier, they are every where, snowmobiles here are really fast...the Yamaha sidewinder srx-le is a 1000cc turbo and 200hp standard, in race trim it they hit 200mph, that is quick...a team here  "Turbo Dynamics Canada" tune them for drag racing (go on youtube), they tuned a turbo'd one and it was 0-60 in 1.1 sec....this company has got a video of that one, i have watched it and the guy is sitting on the sledge, then he's gone in a blink of an eye...lol, my old boss and work mates kept on for me to get one....and i just kept saying nope....i just couldn't justify the cost of it...for x amount of weeks in winter, and you have to have the right snow....my mate bought one last year that cost him $25,000, my old boss bought his 2 years ago at $19,000 i think it was, it sits in there sheds for 10 and a half months of the year....plus they are out on them any where from -10 to -25 having fun they say....lol, a lot of people get hurt every year, and a few get killed each year, my other mate had a powerful one and out having a race with the others...he ended up losing it, he was in a hell of a mess broken leg, arm, ribs and other things and they found his sled 10ft up in the trees...lol...he said he had great fun though....lol

i really wouldn't mind one if i could have had more use out of it, but it is a lot of cost for six weeks of fun......i would rather a side by side that i could use all year round....

Looks a smart thing mate 👌🏽I do like the custom builds I’ve been thinking about doing a custom build I’ve got lots of bits an bobs for a 03 kx 125 I was thinking of putting together another 03 kx125 but it’s just the engine there like gold dust I was thinking of putting a tzr 125 engine with a 170cc big bore kit on it in a kx frame with 2017-2020 plastics kit and try an road legalise it think it’d be something a bit different and quirky

The dt an tz are very similar engines think it was just the cylinder head that was different and the gearing. Bet that dt flew! Last dtr I had was a k reg it’d do the clock 80mph my mate had a little tzr 125 that little thing was mental he tuned it himself  that would go off the clock I’m sure they had 110 mph
