Beta`s  are not made very well mate, the swing arm bearings do not have seals on and the electrics are prone to water ingress.

My mate as a beta 300rr racing endurance bike he states the electrics are poor on them as well

The carbs on them are also old school and are prone to pissing fuel everywhere on tic over and wont start if the bike is face upwards or downwards,

A mate does some sympathetic restorations

A Dutch army Guzzi and his 1930s Norton being rebuilt after throwing him off with a tank slapper and a broken collar bone

Yeah its nice 👌  I've had a go on it,  feels like nothing else with the gear shifter,  you get very involved,  it's his pride and joy it was handed down from his father.

If I remember rightly the 250T was around about the time of the Honda 250 G5 I had one and done 100mph through the Blackwall Tunnel in the 80s it felt like 200mph lol.

I have probably owned well over 50 odd bikes over the years before I started on the railway I was a courier for 15 years the weather got to me in the end, there’s been a few bikes that stick in memory my Ducati Monsters and my lunatic Gpz 750 Turbo I still get goose bumps thinking of the acceleration of the thing 😂
