poxon 5,722 Posted February 14 Report Share Posted February 14 Thought I’d start a post on project motorcycles that some of you lads have done or doing? this is the little project I done a 03 kx125 she’s now a clean little bike that runs super clean and crisp I’ve had a lot of enjoyment out of restoring/building her and mobbing about on the roads an through the woods something else I’ve really enjoyed is the research side of things when looking for parts or race history on the bike/model 12 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I did it as a hobby really as there's no money in it truthfully, well not doing complete renovations there's not. Take this Little DT125MX total cost of buying the bike and importing it from France plus all the parts. Paint and that around £2200 without the weeks and weeks of labour, the bike on the market was in reality worth around £1800 at the time, Yes there were loads for sale at far higher prices but they never sell.
