I'm not pro Putin at all. Just like hating labour and the political left doesn't make me pro conservative. But I guess some of us are finding ourselves drawn to the likes of Putin because at least we expect him to be a power mad monster. Where our own politicians we are supposed to be acting in our interests and clearly aren't. Indeed our own politicians are bending us over and shafting us without lube and laughing whilst they do it.

Stiff claimed Putin was perhaps doing it to effect food supply..... perhaps....but our own politicians are actively reducing our food security. Fck I couldn't blame Putin for doing it .....but our our politicians???!!!!!

My cousin joined straight from school,his old man was in the army ,he grew up in Hong Kong and loads of other exotic places, the family never knew where he was stationed,when is mum passed away,no one cold get hold of him,he married a Scottish girl,she was in the forces too,he ended up leaving after 22 yrs service and went in to private contracting...working in all the shitty little places,looking after diplomats etc,licenced to carry a firearm...his idea of fun,was walking across the wilds of Canada,on his own pulling his kit behind him on a sleigh for 12 months.... genuine Real Deal

I was 24 mate , made a choice one day at work in a comfortable job staring out over a heather covered hill at the small town I lived in at the time . Is this it ? Is this all I have to look forward to ? 

id spent the previous 8 years ding block paving , groundwork’s , working in textiles and finally in job I despised for a company I hated . 
 

made the choice in feb was gone by March . Never looked back .

I had genuinely always wanted to follow in my dads footsteps...but one silly mistake I made at 14 , stopped it,I was placed in a secure unit ,only there for 3 days,got out and went on the run, made my way home to wales ,they sent me to Portland  young offenders where i finished my sentence , after i came out,I had a firearms ban until i was 21,by the time that was spent ,I had got myself a trade was earning good money ,like you I never looked back...I dont have many regrets in my life....but would of enjoyed the opportunity to serve my country ....

Nothing new there mate, Back in the early 1900`s the East India Trading Company was paying the wages of whole regiments. 

They are the reason we ended up with Hong Kong.
