I read a good comment earlier which said Tucker should now interview Biden and then we can see the difference between the two leaders, night and day springs to mind.

Our kid was armed forces most of his life and I know he wouldn't be offended by anything mchull has said, in fact I think they would get on. He doesn't go in for all the forces heroe worshipping.....t

The people that tell us that China ,Russia and Iran are a threat ,are the same people that want to flood the west with millions of people from the 3rd world.

Was just typing a reply to @scotty12 to say that most places around the med I’ve been to are jammed with Russians esp Cyprus etc

is say that theirs a large Russian diaspora across most western urban centres .

Also apologies to @scotty12for letting our pervious convo on another thread go unanswered

True mate ,

but they do kill poeple though . For having anti establishment views or causing dissent or going against the political structure .

Also I think we’re becoming too infatuated with the word freedoms

by dint of our shared community interests , we live a different experience for the majority of uk households

the common or garden 2.4 family inthe uk will live vastly different life other counterparts in Russia

No likes left, but a lot of arguments on freedom on this site surround hunting laws, obvious given its a hunting site ..but like you say that affects a tiny proportion of the populate, I'm not sure how many of the people shouting about Russia good UK bad would really like to live there... I'd hazard a guess you've been closer to the border with Russia and for the most sustained time of anyone on here... would you want to live there?

Why aren’t these russian fleeing the country and flooding European countries for a better standard of life ??

Haven't seen a huge exodus of UK citzens heading to Russia either...usually Aus, Canada or America for the disenchanted amongst us... I wonder why?

No

but we’re learning from it

What are we learning?. That our weaponry is better than theirs. We already knew that after coming up against it in earlier conflicts. That there standard tactic is to flatten an area and the encircle it, That they prefer the hammer to the scalpel when it comes to conflict. That they are prepared to keep filling the trenches with new blood no matter how long the conflict lasts and regardless of how many Russians are killed. The only thing i think we have learned is that Putin is far more committed to this than any of the Wests pansy leaders would be. How long do you think it will be before support from the West starts to drop off. Putin said in his interview that basically any Boots on the ground from another Country, He named the USA but in reality it applied to all western Countries then it will escalate this small conflict into a Global one.

I may have mentioned this before; some years ago I got into a heated debate with Peter Hitchens . He was back then a self confessed communist and Russophile.
He was extolling the virtues of life in Russia, so I asked him if it was so good and the west was so bad , why had he repatriated back to the UK ?

He blustered and deflected but he couldn’t give me an answer, but later he slagged me off in his Daily Mail column, even name checking my full name !

Hes now come the full circle, reporting for the most right wing national newspaper and is now right wing !

So, I’d ask the Putin apologists and supporters; if he and Russia are so much better than the west, are you going to emigrate there ?

Cheers.

I don't think anyone is saying that Russia is some sort of utopian paradise (well maybe mchull) but that the west is going backwards and the standards we are now forced to live by don't look to far away from what Russia has.

Was that a face to face debate mate? Fair dos..

I think everyone knows that no-one is leaving a western country for a better life in Russia... of they were it would be happening now and it ain't..

No doubt the some countries in the West are in decline, we live in the UK and its changed immeasurably, mainly for the worse.. but we ain't leaving for Russia, and never will...apart from McHull maybe, if he can walk that far! Lol
