I may have mentioned this before; some years ago I got into a heated debate with Peter Hitchens . He was back then a self confessed communist and Russophile. He was extolling the virtues of life in Russia, so I asked him if it was so good and the west was so bad , why had he repatriated back to the UK ? He blustered and deflected but he couldn’t give me an answer, but later he slagged me off in his Daily Mail column, even name checking my full name ! Hes now come the full circle, reporting for the most right wing national newspaper and is now right wing !
