Best to stick do a diet you can stay consistent with mate. No good starving yourself on salads for a month or two and then f***ing it off.

True enough , but I enjoy salads and that's what we eat at home ,alongside BBQ and coleslaw etc.id Been lazy using sandwich van and takeaways whilst away , beer/cider is my downfall for calories at the weekend. So all good. Consistently doing anything for more than a few months is also my downfall , I get bored of the same thing .

Yep, that's why you've got to enjoy your diet/food mate. Alcohol is the devil as you know, it goes down a treat and the calories soon add up. Get your daily protein targets in and try to eat whole foods.

Does anyone think there is really some complicated secret to eating ?……I don’t think there is.

Just eat good fresh cooked grub made from scratch, salad, fruit.

There’s never been a more widely available array of herbs, spices, condiments than there is today and you can literally conjure up anything.

Even something as historically boring as salad, you can soon knock up a dressing of soy, freshly squeezed lime, salt, pepper and a bit of chilli if that’s what takes you fancy…..good for you, good for your gut and tastes fantastic.

You can do the same with an Italian twist, British with a bit of Worcestershire sauce and English mustard…..anything.

Same with your cooking, add some whole grain mustard to mash or spring onions, some nice sausage and onion gravy……bingo, not boring at all.

I love my cooking and its a piece of piss, quick and easy…..very rarely use more than 1 or 2 pans, a chopping board and a good knife, it’s not a big deal to eat well……which is probably why I’m a big fat b*****d !

However, 17 stone or not, I can still get round a football pitch with 35 year olds who are absolutely in tatters because they are just eating processed and fast food and it’s total shit.

Many years ago my wife researched all that because of a medical condition, it’s a proper rabbit hole mate.

The long and short is, you can’t avoid it so you may as well not worry.

Your body is absolutely riddled with chemicals that shouldn’t be there from household cleaning products to the food you eat to the water you drink.

If you wash your hair, you are contaminating your body

Use shower gel or deodorant, same

Wash your hands, same

Drink a glass of tap water, it’s just bleach and fluoride

Cook in a non stick pan or eat something cooked in non stick, same

Get your clothes washed at a dry cleaners, same

Wash your own clothes, same

It just can’t be avoided….at all !

I make you right mate.About 5 years back I developed a skin condition on my chest and stomach which was finally diagnosed as a type of psoriasis. The next couple of years I was prescribed all sorts of creams and potions but nothing worked. Then I met my now missus who started getting on my case about what hygiene products I used and the ammount of dangerous shit they put in them and we then stick all over our bodies. She got me using African black soap to shower and moisturising afterward with natural cocoa butter and using a deodorant made from bamboo and containing no aluminium which 99%of deodorants use and within 6 months it completely cleared up.Its also funny that at 51 she looks a good 15 years younger that all my mates birds that are younger than her.She says don't believe the old saying black don't crack it's just because she doesn't cover herself in stuff that basically poisons us and kills our skin. She also got on my case about the products I bought for my daughter for when it's her time of the month and got her stuff made from bamboo and showed me how all the off the shelf stuff that women have been using for years contain bleach and chlorine among other nasties. Its shocking the amount of shit that these companies are allowed to sell us which is actually poisoning us.

I was listening to radio about asbestos found in talc and they can't 100% separate the two, a few women took them to court as they all got cervical (I think) cancer from it , find it in talc products and makeup powders

Then we wonder why cancer rate so high

Some truth in that mate but obesity is likely the biggest overall cause of cancer when we specifically talk about diets, carrying excess timber is just not healthy for humans.
