we've been trying to fight for our country for some years but not in the way the people at the top want, now they want the people at the bottom to fight to protect what the people at the top have😠

Why would Russia invade us? Because our elites keep telling you they might?  The same elites that told all those young men that they were giving up their lives for 'freedom and democracy'? O

Quite easy, not a dinghies chance in a storm, the enemy is within, the left, weirdos, royals, just about everything wrong with society today, nahhh ill leave it to the anarchists, protestors and the r

I have two nieces with good degrees, my daughter in law has a masters degree, and my late niece in New Zealand had a doctorate.

I consider them anything but dense. All gainfully employed and a joy to converse with.

Maybe I’m just lucky ?

Cheers.

Don’t come all the old bite crack as you get challenged for some of the absurdity you come out with

as for the rest , Gracias

your more fun than max , only just though

but what you and the peoples champion don’t grasp , is that the education is needed .

theres no direct inversion between intelligence and common sense. But the main qualities needed are capacity and capability .

The reason most officers are university educated is that in positions of high command , intelligence, the ability think adeptly, to communicate your plan both spoken and written , to read the situation and to complete all the tasks a soldier does in the background effortlessly is an extremely demanding skill set .

An officer completes the same basic training a solder does at more intense and high pace . It’s covered in the first few weeks in sandhurst.

theres no them and us , we are all one team .

If you think of the army as a construction firm.
does the contracts  manager need to know how to set kerbs ?

does the clerk of works have time to run a hoover over the van with the lads ?

does head of design need to know how to clean a cement mixer ?

No but they can do it .

could a yts bricky deliver end  of year accounts ?

does the hr secretary write the company’s 5 year financial growth plan ?

does the tea lady deliver performance reports ?

no they don’t , they can grow into the role . But it takes development and education . Hence rank and promotion.

how two seemingly intelligent geezers can’t grasp that is literally beyond me.

i fall asleep after the second paragraph lol

Both my late children were privately educated; one was possibly the youngest British overseas diplomat and the other was a corporate accounts manager with Barclays in Dubai.

Sounds like I’m bragging? No, just immensely proud of what they achieved.

Im a great believer in education, and whatever people may say or think, this is still one of the worlds best places to be educated.

Cheers.
