Not all half crosses are heavy but there's a lot of familys of bull xs and there offspring  that would and could do in a night what no coursing bred dog would do in 3 on all teeth or things that want confrontation single handed that's fact  its horses for courses mc you keep a good yard but coursers aren't the holy grail there's lines and family of dogs that have put a lot more gear on the floor be it bunnies or reds it just is what it is

normally a family slipped at once if there’s so many great single handed dogs why go to a grey ?

it’s a myth single handed bull x lol  everyone with bull xs double minimum that’s the way it is and anyone telling the truth will say the same mate there’s no such thing as a single handed half cross

Some were doubled up for numbers on a night but most could and did take gear single handed regular and were run regular single handed on all gear  no arse grabbers either mc it's one thing catching up to something it's another finishing the job

mate a coursing bred is miles faster then a whippet lol come on what sal bred dogs you been watching

a saluki has the best hunting brain can read the land better then out nothing comes close

a whippet runs in straight lines lol

I watched the ones I ran in their country of origin and the ones I’ve seen run here.

I’d better go to the whippet racing and tell the people who run dogs that have been bred for 150 years to be the fastest canines in the world over a sprint distance that they’ve been doing it all wrong and need to cull all there whippets and get salukis !

Its a good job I’m thick skinned ‘cause they will laugh in my face ! LOL !

Just when I thought your saluki tinted glasses were slipping…….

Cheers.

mate a bone dry grass football pitch over the distance of a football pitch is completely different to the real world do you seriously believe if we went now slipped on open land at 150 yards with the hare up and off that any whippet in the world would get there before a coursing bred ? me dog would have ten length minimum on it lol

I never said anything like that!

You said a saluki would add speed to a non-ped whippet.
Utter nonsense. Greyhound and whippet is added to saluki to give speed in the hope of achieving the former’s  speed and the latters staying power.

You know that, I’m sure.

Cheers.

I don't think your chats with Gooey are bearing any fruit, charts, sadly. 👍

Be careful what you wish for, Gooey.  You could very easily acknowledge all the shite you've written.

Mc speed isn't everything seen a fair few very quick dogs not make old bones due to there style a good dog just knows how to run and put  gear away and I couldn't think of anything worst than a lamping dog hunting up Unless you use that famous saying it's never done that before 😂

Mate you've just replied to the stupidest post Ive ever read on here regarding lurchers, I honestly dont understand how people can respond to some of the bollocks posted by a certain individual on here, I had a wee spat with him a couple years ago regarding terriers where he showed his complete ignorance of the subject, since that day I have never acknowledged or replied to anything he's written, its the best way.

Always thought that numbers thing didn’t make much sense. Surely instead of doubling up on 6 foxes or deer you’d have been better giving each dog 3 runs single handed. Then you actually know what you’re feeding rather than stacking the odds in the dogs favour
