Kane 2
Norfolk lurcher just another name for a colliex. Quote Link to post
Guest robw
Norflok type is a thing of the past.............you can get plenty that look like the dogs of old, and folk will try and sell these as so...........but its history. If someone does have a "genuine one", ask to see its pedigree.........if its a mixy blob of different dogs then i doubt its for real. Beside there are plenty of lurchers types available today that are more than capable of keeping rabbit numbers down............... ..........now where did that smithfield of mine go........ mark.a 0
I can,t understand all the fuss about them, no one can gaurantee their dogs go that far back. Or what they did back then or what they were bred from, its amazing how people believe or want to believe in pure speculation. One thing I am sure of is that there was bullshitters around in those days just as there is today. :11: Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
How many people selling these dogs can prove their bloodlines? i will bet...none. How many years ago did these fabled animals live? 150 years ? 200 years? there are no reliable photographs are there? or reliable documentation? to my mind, its pure bull, said so a litter can be sold for more brass than they are worth, by charlatans. I,m no expert at all, but i would love to see/read some hard evidence, not fairy stories. Quote Link to post
