I've got a photo of my maternal grandad wearing a pith helmet taken during his time in The Boer war. Also got one of him peering from the bars of a makeshift glasshouse after he ran amuck. I guess drink was involved. 

I'd quite like to dress up. Show more of my feminine / poofter side. However, where I live, I would have the shit kicked out of me and denounced as f****n poser before I could make it to the pub. I'll stick with the scruffy b*****d look for safety.

Please post the pic of your grandfather he sounds neither feminine nor a poof in fact he sounds really interesting.
