Jonjon79 13,358
I never catch these fkn things but, after a quick visit to hospital a couple of weeks ago, something has properly caught hold of me and given me a right kick up the arse - I feel pissed, I've got runny eyes, a cough, snotty nose, really weird dreams, the sweats - it's nothing serious, it's not covid, I'm just out out of direction and, I wish it would f**k off. Normally I put on an extra layer and sweat the b*****d off at work for as long as it takes. Because I'm off work at the moment I've been using 2 sachets of Lemsip in cold mineral water. It's like a medicinal gatorade. Also, a good few sips of dark rum, a long walk in fresh air and a sprint up Barbury or Silbury hill when I get there there's a good set of steps at Kings Hill aswell but, some daft tart called an ambulance when I rolled down the last bit a few days ago. I hate regular people and I hate these feckin bugs but, I feel like I've dealt with the worst of it today

But it just alleviates it , best you can do is rest and stay hydrated.
