Very basically, there has been a Korea for thousands of years; the Japanese invaded and annexed Korea early in the 20th century, but after they were defeated in WW2 they handed it back to Korea. Korea was then divided into North Korea and South Korea, much like Germany was dived into east and west. In 1950 North Korea, backed by China , Russia and other communist countries invaded South Korea. A UN force including the US and the UK went to South Korea’s defence and the war was fought to a stalemate and there was an armistice, but the two Koreas are still technically at war.

I don’t think Korea was ever a province or part of China.

They've never invaded another country because they've not had much to invade another country up until the past decade that Kim has been spending most of its countries money on warfare due to the conflict he's bring with south Korea. For some reason since Putin invade Ukraine many eastern countries have stepped up retaliation with neighbouring countries we can see that on a weekly basis now. Before putin invade Ukraine yes these countries didn't see eye to eye bit of shit talk between one another. But now it's like show & tell at school with that Kim threats testing  his party poppers every other week.. China fast building up there military. The world's gone mad since the invasion of Ukraine. Us the west have helped Ukraine due to them having no fire power against Russia at the beginning of the so called war. He wanted to go in to Ukraine torture them hoping they'd have no help at all. Then after that it would of been many of the other European countries that was part of the soviet union. The man has lost the plot since covid. And now many think he's a God from all around the world. But the only way he will win is if he uses nuclear power against the west. And that won't happen. So all these countries that have followed him from day one will fall too mc. These countries that are holding back on oil sales to the west only burn themselves. Because we will get it one way or another. From other eastern countries who they've sold to at a cheaper price. So in the long run it's them who's out of pocket dum b*****ds. I'm hoping now we stop all deals with the east and get back to how we was many years ago like my grandfather said independent other countries needing us. And hopefully putin will of made this happen. We definitely need to open back up many of our steel factories. Other industries that we were known for quality not quantity.

Its mc that's thinking these countries haven't caused trouble in the past blaming us west something wrong with that lad. Maybe he's got Muslims married into family or sumat. Because he's always sticking up for the c**ts. A never said north korea haven't been to war or been in conflict with other countries. A said upto date meaning recently past few decades. Most countries have realised there's no winners in war. But for some reason that Kim is testing these party poppers for a reason. And it seems since Putin invade Ukraine more so now. Most of the eastern countries have stepped up since seeing putin invade Ukraine.

Nobody won did they really mate same with any war alot of blood lost for what sad.  If it wasn't for America there's a belief it would of spread through alot more of Asia than just North & south. But by the sounds of it that Kim is wanting same as putins doing now with Ukraine bring up the past. You see this Kim has never seen the devastating effects war can have many of these idiots that are running the countries now. This boils down to meetings with Putin. And seeing what putin has in their eyes achieved. But really even if he does take the parts of Ukraine on the boards. Look at the state of the land it's ruined. The money he's spent on gaining then rebuilding in my eyes he's gained nothing. Same will happen with north & south Korea. And many other eastern countries that will follow. Due to them not having a brain cell among all of them. Anyone with a normal head would see that it's not going to plan for Putin , ,costing too much for so little too. And give it up as a bad job.

As I said in a previous post; there was an armistice between North Korea and South Korea, not a peace treaty, so they are still technically at war.

This doesn’t alter the fact that North Korea invaded South Korea.

As for Putin; the west and NATO’s position was to plan for and repel a massive armoured Russian attack sweeping across the Eurasian plain into Western Europe, but look what happened ; they couldn’t even sweep into Kiev !

If the Ukrainians thwarted the Russian plan, then NATO, in my mind , would destroy them with the advanced technology they have. It’s already been said that Russias Black Sea fleet would be destroyed in their moorings by “stand off “ missiles !

Russia is fighting a 1950’s war against Ukraine, NATO would be fighting a 21st century war.

Putins only hope would be to go nuclear, but even he would not invite MAD, the Chinese would warn him against it.

Just my opinions, of course.
