Harkila coats

Recommended Posts

My wardrobe consists of charity shop buys and hand me downs. I very rarely buy clothes new other than under pants which I ask for at Christmas.

Anyway I recently decided on purchasing a decent outdoor coat. I've tried loads on but can't find one I really like. At house of bruar in Scotland I tried on a harkila one, it was spot on. Until I asked the price. £1200!!!

Now I would normally never consider such a price, but I like it, and never really spend money on anything so do I deserve a treat. I simply can't find the same coat anywhere else or cheaper on line.

So, harkila one jacket..... would it be worth an investment or is that much money total insanity???

Looks a cracking coat....  But imagine snagging it on barbed wire 1st time out, I reckon I'd actually cry... Lol

I'm as tight as cramp. I've been stalking on the estate my mate works on and sleeping on his couch. One of my mates put on a group chat "I'll be surprised if he's wearing his own clothes"...... I look

If it’s got good reviews and it’s a decent coat then I’d say go for it. I bought a Barbour tweed years ago, it was a very expensive coat but as I was walking out the gun shop the lady Said this coats on offer, so I bought it , still going strong years  later and tbf it’s a nice coat. Only live once mate and if you take your cash to the grave the tax man will take most of it

Large it’s the Antique gold coloured one their description not mine 😂 I see Charley Boorman wearing one on long way down doing a massive wheely on a BMW GS and had to have one.
