DIDO.1 22,633
My wardrobe consists of charity shop buys and hand me downs. I very rarely buy clothes new other than under pants which I ask for at Christmas. Anyway I recently decided on purchasing a decent outdoor coat. I've tried loads on but can't find one I really like. At house of bruar in Scotland I tried on a harkila one, it was spot on. Until I asked the price. £1200!!! Now I would normally never consider such a price, but I like it, and never really spend money on anything so do I deserve a treat. I simply can't find the same coat anywhere else or cheaper on line. So, harkila one jacket..... would it be worth an investment or is that much money total insanity??? /images/products/medium/TS23344WILLOWGREEN.jpg Men's Harkila One Jacket WWW.HOUSEOFBRUAR.COM
Qbgrey 4,086
If it’s got good reviews and it’s a decent coat then I’d say go for it. I bought a Barbour tweed years ago, it was a very expensive coat but as I was walking out the gun shop the lady Said this coats on offer, so I bought it , still going strong years later and tbf it’s a nice coat. Only live once mate and if you take your cash to the grave the tax man will take most of it

low plains drifter 10,356
There's a company called Hilltrek up in Scotland, their coats might be worth a look if you're after something well made, they make all kinds of ventile and analogy gear, not cheap but less than half the price of Harkila
