colliexgreyhound 119
Any other lithium batteries out there other than the usual tracer ones. Had mine a few seasons now but it doesn’t seem to be lasting as long as it used to. Was wondering if there is any new brands about that doesn’t cost as much Quote Link to post

Stubblebubble 45
Cant go wrong with tracer or ridgemonkey. Both last forever. Can get a few nights lamping out of a charge. And if you using thermal to spot and just using lamp when dogs are running can get many nights out of a charge 1 Quote Link to post
Takairtas 4 Posted Friday at 14:14 Report Share Posted Friday at 14:14 If you're putting together a DIY lithium setup, make sure to use a 3s bms to keep everything balanced and avoid overcharging. I had a cheap one fail on me, and it nearly took out my whole pack. Spend a bit more on a decent 3s bms, and it'll save you headaches later. Also, make sure your connections are solid—bad wiring can mess up even the best battery management system. Quote Link to post
fred90 3,291 Posted Friday at 15:29 Report Share Posted Friday at 15:29 (edited) what happened to the 12v motorbike battery and car spotlight?, little gamekeeper 120 led does old fart like me, 8 or 9 runs and hour or so out. looks like there's some serious tech nowadays, is there enough numbers to warrant the price? dogmad riley 1,348
We've been using a torch of aliexpress led goes further and only uses battery similar to the ones in vapes 2 battery's last all night been using them for about 5 months and the do the job. Wouldn't of believed it until i seen it myself. Think they only £32. Charger £20 then about £7 per battery Quote Link to post

jukel123 8,809
I paid £ 120 for a lithium battery way back when that was the price. It only lasted two years. If I were to buy another battery. I'd buy a small, sealed lead acid motorbike type. Quote Link to post

I've spotted a few on a walk lol. Am in two minds to get the fuckers. They've been stood on this vehicle for time. Just wasting away. Reminds me of the lamps on lurchermania dvds Quote Link to post
