Hey guys; looking for some help from the Irish lads.

Been on here for years and years but not been on for a year or two and so couldn’t work out my password. Plenty of you will know who I am but I might leave it to your imagination for a bit.

Basically a mate and me were meant to be heading to Europe with the dogs to go and do some hunting. Unfortunately because of complications the other end we have to push this trip back. As a result me and my mate are all dressed up with no where to go.

Neither of us have ever been to Ireland before so we are thinking of jumping on a boat Wednesday night / Thursday morning and coming over for a few days, likely travelling back on Sunday.

Got an invite down to the far South West Atlantic coast so that’s sort of where we are aiming for at the moment, but really we are a bit clueless. We were going to hunt a particular quarry so the dogs ok to travel are three Lurchers (two older dogs and a first season pup) and a x bred bushing type thing. The rest of the pack of bushers (which would have probably suited Ireland well) are currently not got certs to travel.

 

So basically what I’m wondering is any chance anyone can give us a bit of local info, or fancies a brew, or a mooch, as we are travelling across Ireland in a pickup with dogs and not much of a plan
