What is an Irish terrier? Too big to be a terrier, not a hound, and too slow to be anything else. Smart dogs at one time, probably the template for all show terriers, but now they are too leggy, short in the back and have terrible open coats. But put one over a whippet or greyhound and I would be happy to have one. Any half whippet or greyhound will catch stuff.

An old mate of mine bred some whippet/Russell's in the 80's, Bb.  About 82? Treforest.

I had a pup once off a mate once. called it Billy. f**k me i had to rehome it after a month, any longer and i would have wrung its f***ing neck, whinging. wining twat. The couple who had it had a nightmare with it for a couple of years, Once bitten and all that Lol,
