They do,I got an alien travel permit to go to that region 30+ years ago,the people were Sunni Muslim and spoke a type of Turkish (yup,turkish in north west China),I always follow the news from that region,China totally started to change Xinjiang from the mid-90’s onwards,the population needed “Re-educating” .

I know, I’ve work in almost every major city and town in the England, Scotland and wales mate…..Bradford and Luton are like a vision from hell !

There was an arrest this afternoon in a park on the Saff estate. A Foreign gentleman trying to get off with school girls,

No as clean looking mate, these were more the ones we used to have on traffic lights in the U.K., dirty scruffy blokes and dirty scruffy women with the babies sedated on night nurse out in all weathers.

 Re- ID cards. Me and the Mrs were on a train going to Florence when 3 Italian cops with their peaked caps pulled scarily low (allegedly) over their faces entered our carriage and demanded ID. In our case passports. I had left ours in the hotel safe because of pickpockets. They f****d about puckering their mouths and  faces pretending to talk into a phone whilst weighing us both up and down. They tried and tried to throw a scare into us but eventually f****d off. No way to live. We're British don't you know.

I was stopped without my ID card in HK and no proof whatsoever that I was there legally as a resident,locked up for the day in TST nick with a load of Nigerians and mainland Chinese picked up in the sweep.

Being caught without your ID card in the forces is a chargeable offence. Being found guilty of that offence often leads to be f****d around on evenings for weeks on end Lol
