I had two match races against it with one of my dogs in 1972 and beat it both times. Decent money back then, but lost the next match race, still up over the three matches though . When I left to go abroad in the mid 70’s my take home pay was £53 a week, it would have been less in ‘72. I was only 20 then and still an apprentice so those stakes would have been well over a weeks wage. I was picking up a few Bob on the flapping tracks aswell with a little 45lb greyhound bitch.
