If it was in barrymores hot tub, id defo say yes, he was jabbed, right in the rusty starfish, just in keeping with the barrymore theme for our new strike it lucky fan above

Sense of humour seems to be disappearing with british life too mate

No, Lem . The sick joke is a perfectly legitimate comedy genre. Usually best told between mates over a pint or with a snigger in private.

Matthew Perry doesn't  seem to have been able to cope with money or fame and messed up . Maybe he would've  messed up his life even if he hadn't  had been rich and famous but being well paid in a very popular TV show gave him the chance to do it in a very public way .

What is true is that ,love it or not,  the show he was in entertained millions of people and unlike some of the nasty bits of work who are posthumously ripped to shreads on RIP threads he wasn't  an evil bloke.

Any newcomer , or potential  member of THL might be forgiven for taking one look at some of the posts and recoiling . And so the site continues to die .

Any anti would have in a few screenshots plenty of ammo to fuel  evidence that field sports types are a pretty dire bunch.

A RIP thread isn't really an appropriate place  for "sickies".  The Joke Thread might be.

Though the obsession some members have with bumming is a bit odd😁

Oohhhh so you did pause your box set to come on and reply, ah well my opinion and its only my opinion, is i couldnt give a feck about matthew perry or anybody on tv to be honest, they all sold their souls for the fame and drugs, then cant cope when its over, but remember the devil still comes back to collect, as for any anti looking on here, well, i could t give a feck about those either, they are 1 of the worst kind, and are too busy terrorising normal people or marching with the rainbow nazis at the pro palestine marches all for the craving attention too, the thing is i dont care what anybody on here thinks of me to be honest, they dont know me and i dont know them, like perry and co sometimes theres no pleasing people, no matter how much they get, they want more. Remember he chose that path

As far as I can see Mathew Perry only hurt himself, no one else, and seems to be universally well liked by all his contemporaries and even ex wives and girlfriends

where I lived when Friends was at its heights didn’t have tv coverage so we went to the local cd and tape shop once a month and pick up the latest episodes. I enjoyed them very much and still smile at the replays on tv.

A lot of comedians are/were depressive’s, some with serious mental problems, behind the scenes.

Cheers.

Canned laughter, ruined a cheesy American sitcom, now they've had the big bang lot. Give me third rock from sun or Al Bundy in married with children. If we're going over the water...

I though Friends was filmed in front of a live audience ?

Cheers.

try that one I've not watched it , but the pauses would require a skill in itself 🤣

It says on line that certain dialogues had the laughter taken out or sometimes recorded without an audience but on the whole it was recorded in front of a live audience.

As I said, it doesn’t really matter to me, I enjoyed it either way.

Cheers.

It was certainly iconic of the time and they made 100s of millions from it. 👍
