chartpolski 24,161
Boris Johnson has joined GBNews. Now that's Boris, Farage and the Tory MP's Rees-Mogg, Lee Anderson, Esther McVey and Philip Davies. Are they positioning themselves to start a new political party when the Tory's get the inevitable mauling at the next General Election ? The GB Party perhaps ? I'd vote for them. Cheers. 7 1

WILF 47,353
The amazing thing is that folks will get to see the “Conservative” party completely fall to pieces with a load of f***ing odd marks running the outfit ! It’s win/win !

Do you think they'll behave any different next time round? I’d vote for a party of predominantly right of centre candidates. I couldn’t vote for the now left of centre Tory’s; I lent them my vote last time to get Brexit done and to keep that traitorous old communist Corbyn out of number ten, but the Tory’s squandered an eighty seat majority with in-fighting. No way could I ever vote Labour again, they are now the party of Islington champagne socialists, Muslims and immigrants, I feel they have abandoned the British working class. So, if a new party that, by and large, mirrored my political view, they would get my vote. Cheers.

paulus 26
If they are going to start a new party, Then i suggest they get the f**k on with it as the general election is less than 10 months away max. If no viable alternative is available then i would think most normal people would have no choice but to vote Tory just to stop labour from winning, Crazy situation but that's how i see it. steve66 3,518
Sadly think the danger is splitting the conservative vote and allowing labour in A new party going to take a while to set out a manifest and build up solid support

I tend to believe that the Tory's are expecting the people to vote for them just to stop labour from getting in. Its fine saying all these Politician's are now on GB news but are they really there for anything other than a fat old pay cheque each month.

I'm not sure they would form a new party, and if they did, I'd expect it to be after the Tory's get decimated. Who knows, maybe the sitting Tory MP's I've mentioned may defect to Reform, apart from Mogg, he's Tory to the core, even if his party is moving to the left and leaving him isolated on the right. Farage was feted by the Tory right at the Conservative convention, and the rumours about him rejoining the Tories may have been a diversion while he tries to convince disaffected tories to join him in Reform or a new party. I think a lot of Tory MP's will sit tight and keep their powder dry and see how many of them still have seats after the election before making any decisions. Cheers.

Despite all the hype from labour at the last 2 bye elections, They only took the seats due to the lack of turn out, People are sick of it all but will they allow Labour to win the next General election?, well i am not so sure they will, even if that means another term of Tory Government. The time has never been better for a new party to be be formed.
