The one you lost how did you lose her? Was it through a working injury? If you’re looking for something to do a bit of everything with I wouldn’t worry so much about the breeds, you get good dogs & shit dogs in every cross, just source a pup from parents that are worked to a decent standard. Most importantly though make sure the mother is the sort of dog you’d be happy owning, they put most in to the pups anyway.

She had turn and in the end was pts. Nothing injury related.

f***ing fruit loop🤣

If you looked after her & gave her a good life then you did her justice. Don’t listen to the story tellers and their tales of massive bags of quarry every outing. If you didn’t see it with your ow

She was mainly saluki x grey but few other bits in the background. The breeding was top notch but I wasn't and sadly couldn't get her right

Well, with hindsight and a bit of extra knowledge, wouldn't the same type suit you now?

If you want a good knockabout lurcher for lamping, ferreting and mooching and your main quarry is rabbit and you like the odd spin on Hare and you also put the odd fox up i think the beddy lurchers are great, something like a grey over a beddywhip. 1/2 grey 1/4 beddy 1/4 whip. Thats along the lines of mine and my interests and hes great fun. But that quater beddy could be bull or collie and i expect youd be just as happy, i just like the beddy for the coat etc. Just my opinions.

Got to admit I've never really been too struck on beddys, my mate had a beddy x and he's soft as butter and a lovely dog he just doesn't do anything for me in terms of owning 1, that said he doesn't work him so seeing 1 work might change my opinion

Lurcher to lurcher, that you know has a drop of saluki blood, and that you like the look of the parents?

Or wait until mchull off here has a litter, and get a pup off him.

Dog be able to tackle anything, from mouse to moose!!  🤓
