The earlier stuff was what we called jointed track normally 24 to 30 foot lengths bolted together with what is known as fishplates, and I’m not sure if Sheffield made the iron I would have imagined so though.

Yes mate Rotherham and Sheffield were big iron and steel makers one of the reasons Hitler tried taking them out and it used to be one of the biggest employers in the area all lost to cheaper foreign steel bar a few.

Latest migration figures for the UK don't make for good reading ffs and the blame lies at the previous government's door though i think it will rise even more under Labour and i believe it would have been higher if we had still been a member of the EU.

906,000 net immigration, so in reality with people emigrating and illegal immigration I'd reckon its over a million
