I walked back across the pitch trying not to cry awaiting the piss taking from my pals and the whole home side and half way across felt hand in my shoulder turned round looked up and that man just smiled at me gave me half hug and passed me the signed cap back not word spoken hed went in tunnel got a pen and jogged across the pitch to catch a mubbling bubbling young laddie trying to show of to his pals and failed never forget that moment even though I’ve no longer got that cap god knows where it is but some man in my eyes for that 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
