Corbyn was asked 15 times if he thought Hamas was a terrorist organisation, yes or no.
He refused to give an answer.
He did say he condemns all attacks on Israel , but prevaricated, obfuscated and did everything he could to avoid calling his “friends” a terrorist organisation.

Cheers.

Kin el, charts, I hope you're keeping Gooey up to speed with all this vocabulary!!

Prevarication and obfuscation need a bit of explaining, poor c**t will be looking at you like tyson fury after a right hand from ngannou!!  😄 👍

I remember when one or two on here were praising him to the high heaven and rooting for him to be PM,hate to think how it would have went had that happened.

I can't imagine it would of been much worse than the shower of shite that's in power at the minute.

I need to switch on spell check, I’ve been pulled up twice for spelling mistakes lately !
I have a wry smile when this happens as some posts on here need the help of Bletchley Park to decode them ! LOL !

As for mC, I consider it distance learning, a bit like the Open University……I post something; he Google’s it, happy days !

Cheers.

A true story for you mate;

I had a Pakistani engineer working with me in the Middle East, he wanted to emigrate to Canada but kept failing the English Language certification.

This supprised me as he was very proficient in speaking, reading and writing English, as he had to be to work in the aircraft business, I put it down to him suffering from the equivalent of “white coat syndrome “ when he actually sat down to take the test.

Anyhow, my daughter was at the time manager of the Wall Street Language School and her Canadian boyfriend was an instructor.

I got them to help the Pakistani, and in the end the Canadian boyfriend took the test for the Pakistani…. and just managed to scrape a pass ! LOL !

The Paki got his immigrant status and as far as I know had a very successful career with Air Canada.

Cheers.

Arabic is a difficult language, there are so many dialects. Egyptian Arabic uses a “hard G” whereas Saudi and Gulf Arabic uses a “Soft G”. There is no “P” in Arabic.

My grandson is fluent in Arabic but at home with his Saudi family he speaks colloquial Arabic, whereas at school he is taught grammatical Arabic.

When I was in Dubai with Sheik Hamas Ghunaim of “Hounds Of Arabia fame, he kept bringing his friends to speak to my daughter in Arabic and ask them where she was from. With her red hair and green eyes the all thought she was from Lebanon or Syria, but were confused when she spoke in a perfect Saudi dialect.

My Arabic is poor considering the length of time I spent in the Middle East, but my daughter in law assures me I can hold a decent conversation.

Cheers.

Staying under a size 20 and passing your cycling proficiency is quite a feat for someone from pennywell to be fair
