Know one field local below caravan site thats heaving I’m mean 300 plus sat out in it at night if I had inclination and knew what I was doing I’d longnet and take them back to the warrens i ferreted as a kid 

we’ve no rabbits local except this one field 

more deer than rabbits and certianly more hates

local farm around hear had Edinburgh uni do a survey 20 years ago they reckoned over 1 million rabbits you’ll not find one now and it’s not due to over shooting 

Knocking about bushing like we were raised on hoping to flush a rabbit will end no where now dog I got nows two and only ran one rabbit he bumped into at 12 months just it a option now legal or otherwise

Well this year i have seen more rabbits around me than i have for the last 10 years put together. Found some land where i can harvest a few. A friend of mine has bought 2 ferrets for the 1st time in years, so i hope to join him in the field this winter.

That’s great to hear. Even though they are no where near me it’s promising to hear they are coming back into areas that were very low on numbers. Have a good season but don’t go to hard leave a few for next season!

There’s a road I drive from Aberystwyth down to cardigan on left hand side always rabbit sitting out on a gorse bank 🤣
