Flowers to her job, stuff zoo critters in her car, a brick of .22lr on her front porch, but ect. And she's all into romance movie cliches so she loves it . Well with me being away from home for 20 days at that time I've moved to just getting her stuff off of Amazon and sending it to her place. Well she has this thing for 50's ascetics and has been taking about wanting on of them dress you always see 50's style housewives wearing in the movies and pictures . I don't get it but the woman has been wanting one something bad and since work has been driving her nuts I got with some of the women folk I'm friends with and found her the dress and some shoes to match it. All of $50 .... cheaper then most of our dates . Well she gets it video called me when she opens the box and starts screeching like a 5yr on Christmas . She put it all on and she's happy as all get out . Like seriously I'm over here about to tell her to calm down a little bit hay , I like seeing her happy. Anyhow fast forward a bit and one of her sister's who is about your stereotypical liberal wanna be feminist is Snapchating me talking about how it's kinda disgusting and misogynist that I got that get up for her sister and how she can wear whatever she wants . Yadda yadda yadda crap about not living in the 30's women have right , she's strong and independent yadda yadda . So I asked. " let me get this right , your sister ,my girlfriend, loves this ascetic, and she's been talking about how she's wanting one of these dress for the last year or two.... and I got it for her .....and she's happy.... but that makes me a misogynist? Was I supposed to say * NO babe you a strong independent woman I don't care what you want or desire put on this pant suit and go work a depressing job* , Because that kinda sounds like what you want me to say something like that but that sounds a lot like me controlling her and idk wouldn't that be asserting toxic masculinity and the patriarchy or something ?" Which was followed by about 15min of nothing then a response of " SHES A MODEN WOMAN !" To which I responded " look if making her happy buy getting her stuff she wants makes me a horrible misogynist that's fine I really don't care lol.
