I was out last night and spotted a buck on last light , got ready on the sticks but unfortunately the rifle barked a little premature.  I saw the buck ran off into the wood but was positive I heard the strike. I had a good search in the fading light but couldn't find it ....didnt have my thermal with me.

So went this morning to search for it with the dog , found it not far from where I had been looking 😁
