New start for two rods.

With more than 25 years use, my two Conoflex Flattie Fanatic sea rods were needing some TLC and more so a rebuild was on the cards. I stripped all fittings, threads and varnish taking the rods down to blanks then passed them on to an old friend of mine who enjoys earning a few quid on a hobby which makes old rods look like new.  I should say these are exceptional fishing rods that punch way above their weight, not distance rods but fantastic FISHING rods and even though they are only 11.5' they have landed some decent fish over the years.

Tonight I poped to our sea wall to see if there was anything to be caught, well they didn't haul in any monsters but nevertheless they were christened buy landing a handful of flounder, it is so nice to have them back.
