Never knew him personally but he came across as an eccentric, and just liked fieldsports and the usuall spoof, but he was a good author at the books he wrote

Lepus and rogues and running dogs I have here. I borrowed the rest from a mate.

You new what you getting with his books all very well written and must have inspired a lot of youngsters.

Who knows the hunting dog world would be a lot smaller with out his input.

Not sure if that's a Good or bad thing

Vigo Mortensen,probably his best performance along with A History of Violence,but a very dark film.
