If those animals don’t have an outlet then they are, again jmho, a ticking bomb. You wouldn’t walk round with a loaded gun or leave it in your house with your family and a gun don’t have its own brain to make its own decisions…..no difference in my eyes. Jmho of course Good analogy that , I too strongly believe that dogs need a purpose or they can end up with mental problems. Most working lurcher types I've known that are absolute demons in the fields doing their thing. But when away from that environment are the most content softest butter wont melt types you could be around. But if they dont have that outlet then...

Jmho of course Id say the difference is a Pit Bull can make a good, loyal pet dog....ive never understood the logic behind it myself but i know many have been kept in a family situation and fulfilled all the owners needs as a pet dog.......but they was straight bred combat dogs with no desire to guard or attack like these XL things crossed with Mastiff and suchlike bred for all intents and purposes from the poorest non combat pit bull blood thats already been f****d up by not using them for the purpose they was bred in the first place.....ive ranted on with the same saying for years " the further away from the pit you take fighting pit bulls the more trouble with them you will have "........and so to now breed these poorly bred pit bulls to guarding breeds just leaves you scratching your head in disbelief.

You are holding strong opinions on something you have never experienced and have no knowledge on....its a poor trait in my book but we're all made different. i’ve been around a few gnash over the years but ain’t seen a lot of action if i’m honest only a few times but like any dog that’s bred for purpose you have to give them credit there the best at what they do
Chaff 3,574
Perhaps artificial lure racing for these xl bully types might keep them happy and content, perhaps using a scarecrow on a trolley or something like that. Spectators would need to be dressed in Sunday best so bully stayed fixed on scarecrow .
