Last time we took the kids there around 7 yrs back...there was some f***ing german weirdo with a big camera and lense, staying on his own in a family hotel...caught him taking pictures and he was removed from the hotel🤬...other than that,we had a great time, massive waterpark, was a  couple of hundred metres from where we  stayed...was f***ing windy mind😁👍

I came back with a terrible sore throat the hotel was a dump no air con (i sleep with the window open in middle of winter) the water park was good and there was a nice Chinese restaurant I recall

Used to go to Tenerife fairly regular back years ago when the Tko Gym was at the foot of Mount Tiede a lot of the lads used to go there for altitude training theres some beautiful scenery at various points of Tiede temperature wise in Feb/March its around 20/21 degrees not laying on the beach weather but definitely t shirt and shorts.....same with Cyprus ive been there plenty of times in Feb and same its low 20's.....for Feb sun any of the Canaries or Cyprus will be pleasant enough.

It was the first time we had taken all 3 abroad, oldest was 7,youngest 18 months old at the time, found it no stress getting out there, and did enjoy it ,but 10 days was a long old time with kids so young tbh👍

Now they can all swim strongly....I dont need eyes in my arse😂 can enjoy myself when we go away😁👍

I don't do relaxing. I'd go abroad if I was doing something.... watching the bulls.... fishing....away with the lads.... shooting an elephant. Straight there do my shit and come home. But I've promised the wife and kids. And splitting the winter up does sound appealing.....but I can feel my anxiety levels rising already 🤣

No way am I going to a Muslim country like turkey.

Looking life Tenerife or gran canaria

Yes mate. I can't quite remember exactly what year it was. It was a year or two before the trouble that they had there though.. I do remember that!

In fact.. I've just found an old image on my phone with some exif information on.. and the year is 2014! I still use that Samsung tablet most days by the way!!

Their is Cape Verde i have heard the weather is okay at that time of the year but imho it's not a holiday destination i found to my liking but i know folk who love it and go every year.

I've been a couple of times and not overawed to say the least . Stayed at Los Gigantes which is less touristy and pricey. To me the island is not a pretty place...too much concrete and not enough wild life. Hardly any birds and not enough lizards butterflies or exotic looking insects. I'm going to Gran Canaria for Xmas,I don't expect it to be any different, although  there are large lizards there.

The Canaries imo, are islands which have grown to service tourists only. There's not a lot of olde worlde charm. It's not quite Blackpool with sun,but it's getting there.

DIDO, there are fishing trips available all over the island..80 euros for half a day. Watch out for pickpockets around airport and busier resorts.

Moderate warmth will be sufficient thank you lol,..I couldn't handle 30+ degrees ,I do a lot of walking so any place I can stroll about will do fine
