Well, I had to Google it, didn’t I ? Anyhow, the majority of articles say that tap water from a country with a good source, such as the UK , is perfectly fine for dogs, as it is for humans.

I’ve just ordered 500 bottles of volvic

I always have a bowl of water out in the garden room for if the dogs are thirsty, always from the tap. However, they rarely drink from it and invariably prefer to drink the rusty coloured rain water w

If you had the sense to have carried out some basic research into this topic I doubt you would have left this comment, unless you are as dense as you sound from your comment. Why does it bother you when I created my account? That has no bearing on my ability to create a thread, a thread which I believe could be of benefit to other people’s dogs. If you disagree with my opinion then keep it to yourself, ask a question regarding my statement, or if you must write your opinion then do so in a polite manner, I have not personally attacked you so don’t throw your toys out of the pram.

Ok here is a polite (Round about way) with a statement like that just shows ye haven’t got a clue in the slightest most would probably agree,,, what are you going to say next? HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN A BITCH IS IN SEASON. Some dumb thoughts are best kept to once’s self. If tap water was so bad why the hell would it still be provided ? Seen as tho you are some sort of scientist please Enlighten me? Cheers

As for water with fluoride added, as in some parts of the UK, this article suggests it’s a BENEFIT, to dogs;

Other articles suggest the levels of “hardness” in the tap water may be harmful to dogs, such as increasing the likelihood of kidney stones, but as I’ve drank tap water for 70 years, given it to my dogs and poultry for almost 60 years, and seen no discernible detrimental affects, I won’t be changing any time soon !

Cheers.
