Lurcher23 11
In my opinion its bad practice to give your dog tap water to drink. The fluoride in the water is harming the health of your dog. I use filtered water from an Osmio Clarity water filter. Even river water that is clear enough is preferable to tap water. 1 Quote Link to post
Neal 1,857
I always have a bowl of water out in the garden room for if the dogs are thirsty, always from the tap. However, they rarely drink from it and invariably prefer to drink the rusty coloured rain water which collects in an old wooden planter full of decaying logs. Weird! 5 Quote Link to post

Yeah dogs are smart they know not to drink tap water unless its their only choice. It you’re close to a river collect water from a fast flowing section providing its clear enough. I’d recommend a filter mate. 1 Quote Link to post

Lurcher23 11
I don’t do this myself but adding a tiny dash of celtic salt to the dogs meal or water bowl would be a good idea. I’ll give a go. Quote Link to post
