FLATTOP 4,415
I was out that way a month or so ago and was monitoring some very early in the season activity but it fizzled out to nothing but I still look into the hurricane centres site. I guess its going to be awesome. Sounds a bit mental, but I love a good storm. I really enjoy walking in them. I live near a shoreline, so we occasionally get some storm force winds...gets the endorphins or adrenalin or something going. Hurricanes I would avoid though. Stay safe. Am not right hopeful on the eastern countries coming together for climate change. Look at China they've been hit hard with floods Am sure a seen another country Was it Italy?

People still buy houses right next to the shore. They just don't believe that within 50 years their house is going to be under water. People my age have seen climate change ..without doubt. The stats back up what we've seen.

We went on a caravan site near hornsea / sand la mere the shore line there has been smashed back. Old chap who's had his caravan on the site for some years said " He's seen what damage the seas done to the caravan park " Saying at the top end of the site used to be a little football pitch and a little club house for members. About 200 yards from the sore line there's a little fishing lake which he said in 20 years maybe less will be hit. Soon as sea water gets in the fish will die. Nice little lake too some decent fish in aswel. The sites run by Dean holidays now bit of a shit hole from the site where we normally go to thornwick Bay at flambrough. Many of us could go back to living like we did 100 years ago off the land no technology too. The wife wouldn't be able to do it lol nor would my lad he'd die without his Technology.
