Chaff 3,621
interesting one all pet dogs growing up in our house as a kid never has any jabs yet they mostly lived a long life, reading Phil Drabble book atm and he mentions the same thing although jaundice did get the better of his terriers. I will always get mine done but I guess a few wont and looks like a few more wont be in the future, this corvid thing messed with a lot folks heads thats for sure. 2

jukel123 8,130
Even some vets reckon boosters are a con. Try telling that to my Mrs. Some reckon vaccinating a pregnant bitch gives pups immunity.

pengelli 371
the whole point of vaccs for dogs is that the dogs immune system recognises viruses and learns how to kill them parvo ect i have always jabbed my pups twice one jab 2 weeks apart its a bit like when we were at school and got your MMR jab you got it once you did not need a booster i have never bothered with boosters for my dogs once the dogs immune system knows how to deal with it thats it it doesnt need a booster just my opinion
Chaff 3,621
I reckon these are the people that bought a poodoodle of sorts that seem to have no control on dogs, therefore the dog must be autistic and its obviously all caused by vaccinations thats some detective work
Bakerboy 4,736
I only jab as pups but I always get it done at vets for peace of mind that the jab is genuine and stored correctly
Wolfdog91 7,080
No gonna lie... Probably 70% of all the dog I've ever had never had any shot then again they where wall mutts and you can seem to kill a mutt if you tried now they all get a cheap 7way parvo vaccine and that's about it. Anytime I've brought them into the vet I get compliments on how healthy they are

Greyman 28,475
Many years ago I did community service in the local dogs home and somehow a tray of vaccines followed me home I was out day and night back then digging coursing and lamping all my dogs got one lot of jabs over two weeks think each one covered two viruses, but the parvo and leptospirosis ones were the main ones for working dogs I done all my mates as well and never lost any to disease I also used to buy a sachet of sheep dip off the vet for a fiver and do everyone’s dog in that once a year kept them clear of fleas and ticks but have never given a booster to anything despite having loads in my fridge, think these idiots have just been breeding dogs for looks not substance so nervous aggression that should never be bred from is rife in dogs and can look a bit like autism, I have an old Jack Russel that has all these traits but I have learned to work with it and she’s fine but the entire litter she came from were pts after biting kids postmen etc, bad owners and indiscriminate breeding
Chaff 3,621
I have been browsing dogs for sale and it seems obvious that people are breeding just for looks to turn a few quid, not all put a good majority that I have seen on gumtree pets 4 home etc are.So for sure your going to get few that aint wired up right yet they still bred from, apples and trees falls to mind.

Nowadays I kept my dogs jabbed up at the vets till they're 10 then don't reckon they need anymore, tbf my vet agrees with me. Cheers, D.

Greyman 28,475
The Irish lads would know more but many years ago I had a couple of Irish terriers they were brought over and the lad I got them off said that they had been vaccinated but had no paperwork to show it, he told me they used to just buy them over the counter and do it them selves ??? As they had no record and I had some I gave them a shot anyway so don’t no if it was true or not
