Didn't know the clove oil method.

Lime is lethal. Sprinkle some on grass and worms appear on the surface as if by magic. Useful for fishing.

Soapy bowl of washing up liquid on the lawn ,brings the worms to the surface for fishing👍

I've used cymag...First time back in 84 when I was working as a trainee keeper on welbeck estates..had to carry the antidote with you whilst using it..

I think I used it again whilst working for a pest control company in 2003...but my memory is not to good and it may have been phostixin...I think cymag got banned in 2004...as did strychnine..

Welbeck estate like the Wentworth estate back in the day would sooner have had the keepers gas the rabbit's than give permission to a few miner's or other working class lad's permission to ferret them. A couple of my mates got done on Welbeck near the lakes ferreting in the mid 80s and ended up in court.
