Bringing a bitch into season

Recommended Posts

Anyone know of anything that I can do to bring a bitch into season?

I have a greyhound here that I've had for about a year,  she was bleeding when I got her but never came in properly and then the same thing happened on her next season. She bled for a long time but never stood. She's due in again anytime so was wondering if there's anything I can give her to make sure she comes in properly.

Likes been said your best bet is to go the AI route, especially with greyhounds as they can be a fcuker to get the dates right and a real hassle if you haven't got the stud close by. It's good to get a sperm count done on the stud as well to make sure he's not firing blanks so the bitch doesn't get blamed for not taking when it's the studs fault which happens regularly.
