Neal 1,857
I was watching an old episode of QI on Dave yesterday and they were saying that urinating on a jelly fish sting doesn't work. Apparently, the best thing for it is sea water!

Neal 1,857
I've got a pair of those individual toe socks (injinji?) but I hardly ever wear them as they take simply ages to put on. The vivobarefoot tracker esc leather boots I mentioned earlier in the thread have been brilliant. I like them so much that, when I noticed them on sale on their website, I bought a second back-up pair. Comfy, lightweight, great grip. I don't think they'd be much good for digging to a ferret though. Ouch!
Greyman 28,115
Been back on me bare feet now a couple of months but think I will try a pair of them boots come winter time no tan lines here lol
gnipper 6,424
Anyone tried the cheap barefoot shoes off ebay etc? Thinking about trying a pair for round the house and stuff as I have to wear steelies all day and I don't find most trainers comfortable as they're too narrow for me. Neal 1,857
I've got on so well with the vivobarefoot boots during the last year that I've decided to get some of their trainer type things for the rest of the year. They're expensive but well made and last longer than previous trail running footwear I've had. They have a section on their website called revivo which are basically second hand revamped ones. I bought two from there. Still expensive but much cheaper than usual and look like brand new to me. I go one firm ground pair and one soft ground.

tatsblisters 9,431
I suffer with hard skin on the bottom of my feet not surprising as most days I do over 30 thousand steps a day up and down on a warehouse concrete floor. Any lad's use any sort of cream for their feet.

That's what i have started using mate and seen an improvement. Only time I like walking in bare feet is along a nice sandy beach with the sea washing over them.

It takes time mate but is worth it in the end walking on clover is one of the nicest feelings that you miss with shoes on always cool and very cushioning I rarely get splinters now and stinging nettles only last a few minutes but I do get odd looks in the supermarket lol
