mushroom 13,174
Little Mo has passed. 15 years old isn’t bad innings for a staffy. Don’t really have much else to say except She was a cracking dog, smart as fuuck, knew her job whether that was hunting or taking care of my elderly mother… Pretty heartbroken if I’m honest. 7

BGD 6,436
Gutted for you and your mother pal. My old Ma has a wee staffy x just turned 14 and really showing his age now, I know she's going to be heartbroken when he passes. Always says how safe she feels with him curled up at the end of her bed.

No word of a lie, she’s already decided they’re both cremated and going in the ground with her They don’t make them like my mum anymore. My ma reckons she'll take in an elderly rescue when her Bullseye passes, doesn't want to get a puppy and worry about leaving it behind. Might be something to think about if she starts feeling the house is too quiet without a dog about the place
gnasher16 30,220
Shame, sorry to hear that.....by and large they seem sweet natured personable little dogs with character i can see how losing one would cause a certain amount of heartbreak in a different way to an outright sporting/working dog....keep your chin up boss
mushroom 13,174
I would love to get her a little terrier but she can’t cope. They had a dog walker for Mo! Makes me think about our Cabron! He’s 9 on Monday, I think (open to being corrected)… Fuuck it, I’m looking for a bitch lol
