comanche 3,038
Really tall house, no firm ground for the ladder, couldn't get to the nest from the loft and the access hole was out of sight behind the gutter. The customer was itching for an excuse to put his camera equipped drone to good use! 2 Quote Link to post
mackem 26,929
Check out the American drones with the flame-thrower for destroying hornet/wasp nests (and presumably the houses they are attached to)yes a tad OTT. 1 Quote Link to post

Hmm, if a drone can shoot flames it could certainly squirt a blast of insecticide . Less damaging to the house! The blades of the drone were covered in bits of wasp when it came down . Don't know if they actively attacked it or just fell foul of the scything effect as it hovered over the nest. 1 Quote Link to post

It could do insecticide,it’s got a 25 foot “jet” of flame for destroying hornet/wasp nests.I saw fake hornet nests in WalMart, the blurb on the box says hornets are territorial, put the fake nest up and real hornets will move on. They sell those fake wasp nests over here. They don't work, often see numerous nests next to each other 2 Quote Link to post
