Bought myself a bacon slicer last yr. Only a cheap one. I cut it about 5mm thick, proper bacon.

I asked as I slice the missus's Parma stuff from lidls at times and it's finicky even with a razor sharp blade lol.

Adjustable barrel grill is ideal for steaming, grilling, roasting or baking. Would you like barbecue?. If you like...

Good work pal. I had Tamworth X first time round. Made top quality eating 👌.

I'm guna go May time I think for 2 more pigs. Going to be a bit tight with freezer space but I'm trying to move towards keeping summer pigs rather than winter for a number of reasons.

Misus has started a load of seeds off in conservatory. I'm reducing my chicken numbers and getting rid of the Cockerell. I like having him about and listening to him but as they do he has started getting aggressive which is an issue for r lass and the kids. Hen numbers we just can't get through the eggs and it is all extra feed and extra shit to deal with. Going to drop down to 8 I think. Should see me 6 eggs a day which will be plenty still.

Once Ive dropped hen Nos I can move them into their new smaller run and free up the current run for its original purpose of a poly tunnel. Want to get the sheeting on that this year. From what I've read it's best to wait until the warm weather for the stretch so not in a massive rush. Should see something from that back end of season and into winter hopefully then next year really kick on with veg.....that's the plan anyway!
